Product information
PET is relatively hygroscopic and is sensitive to water at high temperatures. When the moisture content exceeds the standard, hydrolysis will occur during extrusion processing, resulting in a significant decrease in quality.Controlling the moisture content can improve the transparency and tensile strength of PET products. Therefore, in front of the rPET extruder, we are equipped with an infrared dryer for drying rPET bottle flakes.
Advantages of Infrared crystallization dryer:
● Only 20 minutes for reducing moisture content of PET bottle flakes from 13000ppm to 50 ppm.
● Crystallizing and drying in one step.
● Prevent sticking and clumping of the material in the extruder intake and limiting the hydrolytic degradation of the IV value.
rPET extrusion pelletizing line adopts a special screw for PET, natural exhaust, flushing underwater pelletizing and PLC control, thus realizing the automation of production. With the recyclable pellets produced by the infrared dryer+rPET extrusion pelletizing line, customers can use up to 100% recycled PET pellets to produce preforms and bottles.
